Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Agency Care Assistants to support a well-established care home in Lancashire. This role involves providing compassionate, reliable care to residents and helping with daily living activities in a friendly, supportive setting.

You will work flexible shifts, with training and ongoing recruitment team support. A caring, patient approach and strong communication skills are essential to promote residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant in a care home or similar setting.
• Caring, patient and professional approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work a range of shifts.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care.
• Right to work in the UK and satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Assisting residents with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Supporting residents with meals, hydration and nutritional needs.
• Promoting residents’ dignity, privacy, independence and overall wellbeing.
• Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate care records.
• Supporting residents’ emotional and social needs.
• Adhering to safeguarding procedures, infection control policies and health and safety guidelines.
• Working collaboratively with the care home team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
