Job summary

Cheshire East Council is recruiting six Community Support Workers for its Macclesfield Supported Living Network. The role involves 24-hour, rota-based, person-centred support to help people maintain tenancies, manage daily living and achieve personal goals.

Full induction, training and a full UK driving licence are provided/required. Shifts run 8am–10pm, with alternate weekends and bank holidays; optional sleep-ins may be available.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, person-centred hands-on care.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Good communicator and team player.
• Flexible, honest, reliable and committed to high quality support.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour person-centred support.
• Help people maintain their tenancies and daily living.
• Administer medication and provide personal care.
• Support with meals, finances, and community engagement.
• Work with individuals, families and professionals to reflect choices and preferences.
