Job summary

Cheshire East Council in Macclesfield is expanding its Community Support Worker team. The role offers permanent contracts at 24 hours per week, with a starting salary of £26,427 pro rata per year and progression to £26,847 with yearly cost of living rises.

Shifts include weekends and bank holidays, with some hybrid/remote work where possible. You will provide 24/7 person-centred support, assisting with tenancies, daily living tasks, and personal goals.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work a rota including alternate weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, medication administration, food preparation, finances, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with individuals, families and professionals to reflect choices and preferences.
