Job summary

Confidential is recruiting a Support Worker in the United Kingdom to help people with learning disabilities and autism live fulfilling lives. You will provide person-centred support, promote independence, and work a minimum of 30 hours per week with guaranteed hours where possible.

We value excellent written and verbal communication, a caring, patient approach, and the ability to manage daily tasks such as budgeting, cooking, and personal care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months UK experience in a similar role.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Full and part-time contracts available.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently, budgeting, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship building to support people and promote positive relationships.
• Community and social inclusion by helping individuals access local events and opportunities.
• Personal care assistance as needed, including prompting for medication and helping with daily routines.
