An established industry player in supported living is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join their team in Dorchester. We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join us on a part-time basis within our supported living model in Dorchester.
Please note, Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship.
You would be required to support five males, aged between 38 and 62 years old, living in their own flats in a supported living model.
The people we support enjoy a range of activities such as:
Three of the people we support communicate through visual aids with PECS and body language, and two of the people we support can speak, are very independent, and require partial support.
You would be supporting with other daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and medication routines.
Shifts range between 7am – 10pm on a two-week rolling rota.
This role would include working alternate weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-ins come with an additional payment).
