The role

You would be required to support five males, aged between 38 and 62 years old, living in their own flats in a supported living model.

  • Going for a walk to the local charity shop or book shops
  • Enjoying a coffee and cake in one of many eateries in the area
  • Going for a meal out together as a group every week

Three of the people we support communicate through visual aids with PECS and body language, and two of the people we support can speak, are very independent, and require partial support.

You would be supporting with other daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and medication routines.

Hours of work

Shifts range between 7am – 10pm on a two-week rolling rota.

This role would include working alternate weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-ins come with an additional payment).

  • Employee Referral Scheme – you can earn £400 for each person you successfully refer!
  • 12-week induction programme consisting of in-house training, e-learning, shadowing, coaching, and mentoring.
  • The opportunity to complete an accredited qualification once you’ve passed your probation period.
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Up to 33 days annual leave pro-rata (including bank holidays)
  • Benefits portal which gives you access to discounts at your favourite shops, restaurants, and days out, along with a cashback healthcare plan for general healthcare such as optical and dental.
