Job summary

Cheshire East Council in Macclesfield is expanding its team of Community Support Workers. This permanent, part-time role (24 hours per week) focuses on 24-hour, person-centred support to help individuals maintain tenancies, manage daily living tasks and achieve personal goals.

No prior experience is required as full induction and training are provided. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to work a rota including alternate weekends and bank holidays; shifts run from 8am to 10pm

Responsibilities

Office Base: Macclesfield Supported Living Network

Contract: Permanent 24 hours per week Pay: Starting at flat rate £26,427 [pro rata, per annum], £13.70 per hour, incremental for 5 years to £26,847 [pro rata, per annum], £13.92 per hour. [with yearly cost of living pay rises] [Excluding enhanced rates at weekend and bank holidays].

About the Role:

You’ll be part of a team providing 24-hour person-centred support, helping people maintain their tenancies, manage daily living tasks, and achieve their personal goals. Support includes:

  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Food preparation
  • Managing finances
  • Community engagement

We work closely with individuals, families, and professionals to ensure services reflect each person's choices, aspirations, and preferences.

About you:
