NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Staff Nurse Band 5 for Inverclyde HSCP – Community Adult Nursing. Fixed term 1 year, 36 hours per week, 5 over 7 days. Base: Inverclyde Community Adult Nursing.

You will work with the Band 6 nurse to provide health screening and assessment for New to Scotland refugees or asylum seekers, delivering holistic nursing care to a defined caseload.

Qualifications

• A 1st level registered nurse with significant post-registration experience.
• Current NMC registration required; evidence to be provided prior to start date.
• PVG Scheme membership / Disclosure check required.
• Full driving licence is essential

Responsabilités

• Assist the Band 6 nurse with health screening and assessment for New to Scotland refugees or asylum seekers within Inverclyde.
• Provide holistic nursing care to a designated caseload within asylum health and community nursing.
• Collaborate with team members and link with GP, OOH, NHS 24 and ambulance colleagues.
• Rotation within Inverclyde locality as service demands
