Job summary

ICF in London is seeking a capable programme coordinator to support place-based sport and physical activity initiatives. You will help identify gaps, develop action plans with schools and partners, and contribute to governance, evaluation and learning across communities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, flexible working with a hybrid model, and a focus on widening participation and health outcomes. A graduate qualification or substantial equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects or programmes in sport, physical activity, public health, or community development.
• Highly organised with experience coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Understanding of UK sport landscape and stakeholders.
• Experience with monitoring, evaluation, finance, grants or contracted delivery.
• Confident communication and partnership skills with diverse communities.
• Graduate-level qualification or equivalent substantial experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local action plans and delivery across community, education, sport and partners.
• Support learning capture from grants including milestones and reviews.
• Maintain governance, risk logs, delivery trackers and reports.
• Use local data to identify gaps and shape interventions.
• Support school funding bids, partnership proposals, and business cases.
• Organise meetings, workshops and engagement activities.
• Contribute to evaluations, learning reports and case studies.
