Job summary

CISWO The Coal Mining Charity is seeking a dedicated Social Worker for the Personal Welfare Team in Mansfield. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support, delivering services in clients' homes and local communities, while empowering individuals to access advice, advocacy and practical assistance to improve independence and wellbeing.

Role includes case load management, assessments, and collaboration with partner agencies to deliver integrated care.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work and current professional registration.
• Experience of undertaking professional assessments, planning and intervention.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits system.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults and their carers in the community.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise referrals and allocate cases.
• Provide supervision in absence of Senior Social Worker.
• Support safeguarding in conjunction with Senior Social Worker.
• Induct and train new team members.
• Coordinate learning for the personal welfare team.
