Location: Office based - London Office and intermittently at The Fermentery (Aylesbury) and a lot of time out and about

Full Time: 5 days a week (Monday - Friday), with some evenings and weekends depending upon brand activities

The REAL Co. is the producer of world-leading alcohol-free drinks based upon its patent pending fermentation technology. All products are produced in our vertically integrated, state-of-the-art Fermentery in the grounds of the Waddesdon Estate in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, just 1 hour from central London. The REAL Co. produces under its own brand 'REAL Alcohol Free', as well as leveraging its technology to produce high-quality breakout products for a number of other partners: retailers, food service retailers, and brands. The REAL Co. is shaping the future of alcohol-free and functional drinks.

As a small yet rapidly growing business, we require a passionate and experienced Community and Social Media Exec as a key member of our Marketing team to build a strong and engaged digital consumer community. Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director and working closely with the Digital Growth Manager, this person is responsible for creating and posting regular branded digital content and creating and nurturing an engaged online community of followers and customers. You will deeply understand what makes our customers tick: who they are, what are their interests and pain points, and how REAL can engage with them in their day-to-day lives.

The opportunity for you is big: to be a key driving force behind the development of a brand at the centre of the alcohol-free movement, changing the narrative around drinking; to be part of a fast-moving and creative team; to report into and learn from a senior team with really deep experience in building world-leading brands and business.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Content Creation & Curation

  • Develop and post engaging branded content consistent with brand guidelines, aligned to the monthly brand digital content calendar, and executed across key social platforms
  • Create visually appealing digital assets (e.g., photos, videos, stories) on key social platforms that showcase our products and reflect our brand tone of voice
  • Adapt relevant digital brand content to seasonal campaigns (e.g., summer drink recipes, holiday gift guides) and new product launches

Community Engagement

  • Act as the brand’s primary online voice, responding to online consumer & customer comments & direct messages with a consistent tone of voice, aligned to brand guidelines
  • Build and nurture relationships with D2C online store customers, turning them into brand advocates through personalized and timely interactions
  • Work with the Customer Service team to review D2C customer feedback on a daily & weekly basis and address any complaints swiftly and satisfactorily

Digital Campaign Execution

  • Collaborate with REAL Brand Manager & Digital Growth Manager to execute social-first brand content that drives consumer engagement
  • Partner with Partnership & Activations Exec to digitally amplify brand events, collaborations & partnerships via live posts, stories & post-event recaps
  • Identify, recommend and engage with social media influencers who align with brand’s positioning for potential new content-led partnerships/collaborations
  • A digital native with experience in and deep understanding of social media platforms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Entrepreneurial & creative approach to building digital awareness and engagement
  • Comfortable working at pace and with a level of ambiguity
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work flexibly to ensure deadlines are met
  • Organised with strong planning skills
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive approach with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Self motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and a love for working in a dynamic team
