Title: Brand Partnerships & Activations Manager

Location: Office based - London Office and The Fermentery (Aylesbury)

Full Time: 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) & some weekends

Package: £XXK + share options + benefits

The REAL Co. is the producer of world-leading alcohol-free drinks based upon its patent pending fermentation technology. All products are produced in our vertically integrated, state-of-the-art Fermentery in the grounds of the Waddesdon Estate in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, just 1 hour from central London. The REAL Co. produces under its own brand 'REAL Alcohol Free', as well as leveraging its technology to produce high-quality break out products for a number of other partners: retailers, food service retailers, and brands. The REAL Co. is shaping the future of alcohol free and functional drinks.

As a small yet rapidly growing business, we require a passionate and experienced Brand Partnerships & Activations Manager as a key member of our Marketing team to lead and build brand trial and advocacy amongst consumers and the trade. Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director and working closely with the Brand Manager and Digital Growth Manager, this person is responsible for activating the REAL brand at key consumer and trade events, sourcing and executing brand partnerships / collaborations and generating content that leads to broader amplification and increased brand saliency.

The key performance measure for this role is brand visibility as a consequence of partnership activity. Therefore the role is not simply about creating great partnerships, activations and events that tell the brand story, but thinking about how to amplify the visibility of these activations across our various communication channels. You will work hand in hand with our Digital Growth Manager and Social Media Exec to plan and capture content, and disseminate this content broadly.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Brand Activations Planning

  • Create, develop and lead the annual brand activations plan (including partnerships, events, collaborations) and the 12 month activations calendar that’s in line with REAL brand strategy.
  • Identify and recommend relevant brand partnerships , collaborations and events that will build REAL brand awareness and trial.
  • Be responsible for managing and communicating the relevant A&P budget set aside for these activities during the course of the year.

Brand Activations Management

  • Build relationships with potential partners, work creatively with them to come up with innovative activation concepts, and manage the relationship with these partners for the long term.
  • P roject manage all brand activations end-to-end including briefing, activation scoping, 3rd party collaboration, logistics and final execution.
  • Liaise and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, providing clear roles & responsibilities to ensure seamless execution.

Content Generation

  • Collaborate with relevant Marketing team members to agree the type of content required for amplification outside of the brand activation itself.
  • Capture all relevant content at the activation and share with pace for it to be posted on our social channels.

Measurement & Evaluation

  • Assign clear KPIs to each activation so it is clear what success looks like.
  • Pull together and share post activation reviews that include objectives, activation summary, results, learnings and insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to engage with all personalities
  • Naturally creative with lots of different ideas to bring to the table
  • A self-starter with strong organisational & project management skills
  • Comfortable working at pace and with a level of ambiguity
  • Has a natural desire to be amongst the London social scene, regularly attending events and connecting with like-minded people
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work flexibly to suit the requirements of an events led role (including weekend work)
  • Has a passion for all things food, drink and culture.
