Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare seeks a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to deliver rehab programmes and support SLTs across ESD, CST and NETT pathways. You will manage a delegated caseload, run individual and group sessions, and support patients with communication and swallowing disorders in community settings.

You will need GCSEs with maths and English, plus NVQ3 in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE Level including maths and English.
• NVQ level 3 in Diagnostic and Therapeutic support or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitation programmes delegated by Speech and Language Therapists.
• Manage and prioritise a delegated caseload and monitor progress.
• Support patients with communication and swallowing difficulties post-stroke or neurological conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy in community settings.
• Assist with therapy resources and admin tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to reporting.
