CENTRAL LONDON COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE NHS TRUST is seeking a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant for our Integrated Community Stroke Service. You will work closely with Speech and Language Therapists to deliver rehabilitation for adults after stroke and neurological conditions, including home visits across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and innovative Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS). Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to Speech and Language Therapists across the Early Supported Discharge (ESD), Community Stroke Team (CST) and Neurorehabilitation Team (NETT) pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults following stroke and other neurological conditions, delivering rehabilitation programmes designed by qualified Speech and Language Therapists. You will manage your own delegated caseload, support individual and group therapy sessions, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across Hertfordshire. The role is community-based and offers variety and autonomy, with visits taking place in patients' own homes, community venues and healthcare settings across the county. You will work closely with patients, families, therapists and the wider team to support people in achieving meaningful rehabilitation goals. We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and compassionate, with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for people affected by stroke and neurological conditions.
