Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust invites a registered nurse to join the Immunisation Team in Sussex. The role is 14 hours per week on an annualised contract, working across schools and community settings to deliver vaccines and ensure patient safety.

You will visit different schools each day during term time and undertake catch-up clinics in holidays. Driving license and access to a car are required to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current UK registration and immunisation training.
• Experience in community settings and working with children/young people.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to use health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver immunisations safely across community settings and clinics.
• Provide specialist immunisation advice and support to maintain high vaccination uptake.
• Travel between sites using a vehicle and participate in mandatory training and supervision.
