A local governmental organization in Oldbury is seeking a Community Safety Assistant to support initiatives aimed at reducing crime and anti-social behavior. This role involves engaging with local communities and partners to develop action plans. Candidates should have A level education or equivalent. This is a full-time position, offering 37 hours per week and a supportive working environment.
This role supports a collaborative and integrated approach to community safety across Sandwell by assisting the Community Safety Team Manager in delivering key projects and workstreams. It contributes to the delivery of the Safer Sandwell Police & Partnership Board’s (SSPPB) priorities and outcomes, particularly in reducing crime and disorder, through the implementation of a range of community safety initiatives. The postholder will work closely with partners across Sandwell to help coordinate responses to anti-social behaviour (ASB), crime, violence, and exploitation.
