Zusammenfassung

We are seeking motivated Community Safety Intervention Officers to reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB) and improve safety for Birmingham residents. You will manage ASB cases end-to-end, conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, gather evidence, and support victims within a multidisciplinary team.

DBS checks and Right to work in the UK will be required. The role promotes safeguarding, partnership working with police and councils, and place-based problem-solving to deliver positive outcomes

Qualifikationen

• Experience in community safety, ASB, housing, safeguarding, or related field.
• Strong investigation skills with ability to gather evidence, assess risk, and manage complex cases.
• Ability to work with vulnerable individuals and apply a victim-focused approach.
• Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and escalation procedures.

Aufgaben

• Manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases from report to resolution.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to prioritise support and interventions.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and maintain accurate case records.
• Build evidence packages and support legal and enforcement action where required.
• Deliver a victim-focused service, providing support to vulnerable individuals.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals.
• Work with police, housing, social care, schools, and other partners to resolve issues.
• Use prevention, early intervention, and enforcement approaches to reduce ASB and crime.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to tackle recurring neighbourhood issues and hotspots.
• Contribute to Local Community Safety Partnerships and place-based interventions.
• Engage with residents, community groups, and stakeholders to build confidence and improve community safety.
• Prepare reports and use data to inform decisions and drive positive outcomes.
