Job summary

Onward Homes is seeking a Safer Neighbourhood Specialist to lead on tackling anti-social behaviour and safety issues in our communities. You will manage diverse ASB cases, work with residents, partners and legal teams, and travel across the East and West regions as needed.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required. You will engage with local authorities and agencies to promote safety initiatives, landmarks, and appropriate interventions while maintaining detailed case records

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housing legislation and regulations.
• Experience delivering face-to-face customer service in challenging environments.
• Experience developing partnerships with local authorities and community groups.
• Good understanding of social, economic and political factors affecting local communities.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of anti-social behaviour, harassment and hate crime and take appropriate action.
• Provide advice and guidance to customers, colleagues and partners on community safety.
• Manage a complex caseload and progress cases in line with policies and procedures.
• Develop working relationships with local authorities, support agencies, police and community organisations.
• Chair and attend multi-agency meetings to coordinate interventions and solutions.
• Prepare legal documentation and evidence for court proceedings.
