Job summary

Onward Homes is recruiting a Safer Neighbourhood Specialist (ASB) to lead on anti-social behaviour issues across our communities. You will balance prevention, diversion and enforcement, coordinating with residents, partner agencies and legal teams to achieve positive outcomes.

Based in the East Region with occasional travel to the West region, the role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and a commitment to safeguarding residents. Join a team dedicated to safer neighbourhoods and community impact.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housing legislation and regulations.
• Experience delivering face-to-face customer service in challenging environments.
• Experience building partnerships with local authorities, support agencies and community groups.
• Understanding of social, economic and political factors affecting local communities.
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with County Court procedures and ASB/harassment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of anti-social behaviour, harassment and hate crime; take appropriate action.
• Provide advice and guidance on community safety and ASB.
• Manage a complex caseload; ensure progress in line with policies and procedures.
• Develop relationships with local authorities, support agencies, police and community organisations; coordinate interventions.
• Chair and attend multi-agency meetings to coordinate solutions.
• Prepare legal documents, witness statements and evidence bundles for court proceedings.
• Assist with injunctions, possession proceedings and breaches of court orders.
