Job summary

Marston Holdings Limited is recruiting for a Community Safety & Anti-Social Behaviour Enforcement Officer to tackle ASB and environmental crime in Lewisham. You will lead investigations, coordinate with the Metropolitan Police, and help deliver safer, cleaner communities.

You will manage complex ASB caseloads, prepare legal documents, and work with partners to implement strategies and interventions that reduce noise, nuisance and harm across the borough.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ASB casework and enforcement actions.
• Strong knowledge of ASB legislation 2014 or equivalent.
• Experience preparing legal documentation and attending court.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of ASB cases, including high-risk and persistent issues
• Lead on enforcement action under ASB legislation (e.g. CPNs, Civil Injunctions, PSPOs)
• Prepare legal documentation and represent the Council in court where required
• Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and take witness and community impact statements
• Use surveillance tools to support investigations
• Develop and implement borough-wide ASB strategies and PSPOs
• Analyse data to identify ASB hotspots and deliver targeted interventions
• Work with police, housing providers, legal teams, and partners
• Represent the Council at community meetings and panels
• Provide safeguarding and support to victims and witnesses
