Oxford City Council is seeking a Community Response Team Officer to join the Oxford-based team on a hybrid basis. You will help prevent and investigate anti-social behaviour, tackle noise complaints and environmental crime, and carry out enforcement and compliance visits to keep the city safe and welcoming.

We value a customer-centric approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex cases.

Salary G5: £33,159 per annum full time (pro rata for part time). Contractual hours 37 Basis Full Time Region Oxford Package 29 days holiday, LGPS, subsidised leisure membership, flex scheme (where appropriate), employee benefits scheme, post-probation pay increment.

Job description

• The Community Response Officer is responsible for the prevention and investigation of anti-social behaviour, noise complaints, environmental crime and community safety. We conduct interventions, enforcements and compliance visits to help prevent ASB and environmental issues.
• We help to provide a vital service in the provision of community safety across Oxford, with the aim of making Oxford a cleaner and safer place for everyone to live, visit or work in.
• We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Community Response Team. They must have a customer-centric work ethic. You will be a highly organised problem solver with the ability to manage complex cases
