Bethany Christian Trust is recruiting for a part-time Community Resettlement Worker to support men and women leaving prison. You will facilitate volunteer mentoring, build relationships across churches and organisations in the Central Belt, and work in a small team under the Community Reintegration Coordinator.

The role welcomes applicants with or without qualifications; a relevant SVQ3 is considered for higher starting salary. PVG membership is required; a church reference is needed.

## Community Resettlement Worker – Connect to Community* Bethany Christian Trust* Part time* £28,700 pro-rata* On site: Primarily in the Central Belt of Scotland* Closing 23rd November 2026* Advertised from 29th October 2026* 22.5 hours per week.#### Role‘Connect to Community’ is part of Bethany Christian Trust and seeks to support men and women leaving prison toachieve their goals and to build a positive pathway after prison, by providing a relationship that integratespeople into their local community.As the demand for this service grows geographically, we are looking for a candidate who will strengthen and developour existing service. A significant part of the role will be to facilitate volunteer mentoring by working inpartnership with churches and other organisations across the central belt of Scotland.The successful candidate will work as part of a team alongside the Referrals and Communications Worker and under thesupervision of the Community Reintegration Coordinator.Starting salary for a successful candidate with an SVQ3 in a relevant qualification would be £29,570 (pro rata).Applications from individuals with and those without a qualification are both welcomed.As Bethany is a Christian organisation, this post carries an Occupational Requirement in line with the Equality Act2010.
