Job summary

NHS Fife's Community Rehabilitation Team in Kirkcaldy Locality seeks an experienced RSW to support adults in ward, clinic or home settings. You will work with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and District Nursing to deliver therapy and prevent hospital admission, enabling early discharge where needed.

You will hold an SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care; experience with older people is desirable. Travel across the locality is essential, and 24.7 hours over 7 days provides flexible working

Qualifications

• SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a support worker role is desirable.
• Experience working with older people is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic treatment programmes in ward, out-patient or home settings.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and District Nursing teams.
• Carry out daily care tasks in the community and support early discharge.
