Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Solway Rehabilitation Team. The role involves delivering rehabilitation in people’s homes and our rehabilitation centre, helping patients regain independence through supervised exercises and ADLs.

Based in Wigton, the post requires UK driving and a flexible 7-day service. Training is provided, and the team supports career development within a friendly, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in community or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Patient-centred care with focus on independence.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver rehabilitation in the community.
• Implement rehabilitation plans and observe patient condition.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Support 7-day rota and flexible shifts between 8am–6pm.
