Community Recovery Worker: Substance Misuse Support

Inclusion Isle of Wight is seeking a Recovery Worker to deliver psycho-social, recovery oriented interventions within our NHS funded service. You will work in the community, supporting individuals with mild to moderate substance misuse to make positive changes and achieve recovery, in collaboration with clinical prescribing services.

This Band 5 post requires experience in alcohol and drugs work, knowledge of trauma informed care, and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working with people who use alcohol and drugs.
• Understanding of working within multi disciplinary teams.
• Understanding of stigma in relation to substance misuse.
• Understanding of trauma informed care.

Aufgaben

• Deliver psycho-social, recovery orientated and outcome-focused services within ORB with high standards and good practice.
• Work within an integrated team delivering psycho-social and clinical interventions to service users with substance misuse, including alcohol.
• Use strengths-based approaches including mapping techniques and recovery planning.
• Coordinate recovery for each client on caseload and ensure joint recovery planning and reviews.

NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
