Job summary

Lifeways Group is seeking caring Recovery Support Workers to join the Enhanced Community Recovery service in Barnsley. You will work closely with clients to promote independence and support their recovery journey.

We value compassionate, person-centred care and offer a flexible rota with early, late and sleep-in shifts Monday to Sunday. Experience with mental health needs is preferred; NVQ/QCF is an advantage, and IT skills including Word and email are useful.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Understanding challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to use IT systems (Word, databases, email).

Responsibilities

• Support clients to promote independence.
• Build confidence and aid recovery journey.
• Work rota across early, late and sleep-in shifts.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver person-centred care.
