Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Healthcare Support Worker to provide personal care and support for patients across North Devon. The role requires a caring, patient approach and IT competency for electronic records, with travel to patients’ homes from a Barnstaple base.

You may join as a Band 2 development opportunity with progression to Band 3 on successful completion of competencies. Full-time and part-time posts are available

Qualifications

• Experience caring for frailty patients in the community preferred.
• Able to work independently with support from a team.
• Full UK driving license required for home visits.

• Provide personal care and monitor patient condition.
• Deliver clinical duties as delegated.
• Coordinate with health and social care professionals.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
