Job Description: Psychiatric Community Nurse

As a Psychiatric Community Nurse, you will provide mental health support and care within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Working closely with patients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia.
  2. Conducting assessments to evaluate mental health needs.
  3. Developing personalized care plans.
  4. Providing therapeutic interventions, including counselling, medication management, and crisis intervention.
  5. Collaborating with healthcare and social service providers, support networks, and community resources to ensure holistic care.
  6. Advocating for patients, promoting mental health awareness, and reducing stigma associated with mental illness.
