Job summary

Guardian Jobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver community-focused projects across Devon. You will lead from development through to delivery, ensuring work is on brief, on budget and on time. The role requires strong communication, budgeting and stakeholder engagement, with hybrid working and a generous benefits package.

The organisation values collaboration with communities, funders and partners while supporting rural, coastal and market town initiatives throughout Devon.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience across multiple projects.
• Proven ability to engage local communities and partners.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and reporting.
• Ability to travel across Devon for meetings and occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of community development projects from planning to delivery.
• Engage with communities to identify needs and develop solutions.
• Support charities, social enterprises and small businesses with information and training.
• Develop and deliver consultancy projects and contracts.
• Build relationships with funders, statutory bodies and partners.
• Deliver presentations, training and community engagement activities.
• Monitor, evaluate and report impact; represent the organisation at events.
