Job summary

Ingeus UK is recruiting a Support and Progression Advisor to work with participants across Bolton and the North West. You'll manage a focused caseload, deliver personalised assessments and coordinate health interventions, volunteering opportunities and in-work support to help people progress.

The role combines office and community-based work, with safeguarding responsibilities, strong relationship-building and the ability to adapt to complex needs while delivering high-quality, person-centred

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building, communication, coaching and motivational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with participants who may have complex needs.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to meet quality standards while supporting engagement and progress.
• Comfortable working in both an office and community setting to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing a focused caseload, ensuring regular contact and progression through the programme.
• Completing personalised assessments to develop tailored support plans reflecting participant strengths, needs, goals and wellbeing.
• Supporting access to skills development, volunteering, employability and in-work support aligned to individual goals.
• Delivering support from office and community settings, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness to circumstances.
• Coordinating referrals and warm handovers to specialist support services where appropriate.
