Position: Community Programme Assistant

Chelsea Salvation Army Corps is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Community Programme Assistant to support the operational delivery of community programmes and initiatives aligned with our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in delivering community programmes and activities within the Corps and local community to fulfill our mission.
2. Engage with programme participants professionally and compassionately to foster a welcoming environment.
3. Maintain accurate records through relevant administrative processes.
4. Support volunteer development to ensure their effective contribution to programmes and activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with participants and colleagues.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, along with good numeracy skills.
• Basic experience with software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email communication.
• Willingness to work within and uphold the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army.
