The Caring Physio is recruiting a Community Physiotherapist to cover Coventry and surrounding areas. You will visit patients in their homes, assessing mobility and creating personalised rehabilitation plans to help them regain independence.
We value compassion and reliability. Benefits include paid annual leave, sick pay, pension options, regular CPD, DBS provided, and the flexibility to set a diary around life commitments. A full UK driving licence is required.
Covering: Coventry, Earlsdon, Cheylesmore, Coundon, Allesley, Tile Hill, Binley and Walsgrave, plus Bedworth and Nuneaton
Pay: £41 per hour + 45p per mile.
Hours: Employed and on payroll. Anything from 3 hours to 2 days a week, depending on the caseload you want to build.
We are The Caring Physio. We provide physiotherapy in people’s own homes, for those who find it difficult to get to a clinic. Most of our patients are older, though we see people of all ages, and our focus is on helping them regain their independence by working on the things they struggle to do at home.
Many come to us while they are waiting for support that has not yet arrived, or that has arrived and is not enough. They are recovering from an illness, an operation, a fall or a stay in hospital, and they are looking for more help than they have been given.
Our values are compassion, integrity and enjoyment. We treat people as we would want our own family treated.
We are looking for kind and compassionate physiotherapists who go the extra mile for their patients. Listening carefully to someone’s needs and concerns, working out how to solve the problems standing in the way, and giving them encouragement and confidence — that is what the role is about.
We are opening up Coventry, and we are looking for the physiotherapist who will build it with us. University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire at Walsgrave discharges older people across the city every week, and George Eliot in Nuneaton covers the north of this area. Both send people home to houses that were never adapted for the state they are in when they arrive. The rehabilitation that decides whether someone stays independent happens afterwards, and that is where we come in.
This is a city role rather than a rural one. The caseload sits within Coventry and its suburbs, with Bedworth and Nuneaton to the north.
Most of your visits will be within a few miles of each other, though some days will involve more moving around than others. We pay 45p a mile and we build your diary around where you live.
