Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is assisting a community pharmacy in Shenley, Hertfordshire to recruit a patient-focused Community Pharmacist. You will play a visible role in dispensing, clinical checking and delivering NHS and private services.
The role is full-time with potential part-time arrangements; salary £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience, with consideration given to self-employed arrangements.
Would you enjoy making a real difference in a close-knit community, where patients know their pharmacy team by name?
Our client is an established community pharmacy serving a loyal local patient base in a friendly village setting. With a GP practice nearby and a supportive, experienced team, the pharmacy provides a welcoming environment where patient care and good relationships matter.
The pharmacy is developing its range of clinical services and is looking for a patient-focused pharmacist who can contribute to that growth while helping to lead the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
We're looking for a Community Pharmacist to take a visible, active role in the pharmacy: supporting patients, overseeing dispensing and clinical checking, delivering services and helping the wider team work effectively.
Full-time, permanent work is preferred. The client is also open to discussing part-time arrangements with the right person. There may be flexibility to work Monday to Friday or to include Saturday rota cover, with the working pattern agreed with the successful candidate.
Experience with services such as Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks and ABPM, NMS, contraception, vaccinations, travel services and weight management would be valuable. You don't need to have delivered every service already: training can be discussed for someone who has a strong foundation and is keen to develop.
Newer pharmacists with the right attitude and patient-facing skills are encouraged to apply. An exceptional hospital pharmacist looking to move into community pharmacy may also be considered.
The usual opening hours are:
The preferred pattern is five weekdays. An alternative of four weekdays plus Saturday rota cover may also be considered, with a weekday off. Saturday frequency and part-time options can be discussed.
