Job summary

Talent Finder is representing an established community pharmacy in Shenley, Hertfordshire, recruiting a Community Pharmacist to lead dispensing and clinical services. The role offers a strong community focus, with NHS and PGD services, and aims to grow clinical offerings while guiding the team.

The position is full-time/permanent with potential for part-time arrangements. A flexible pattern includes Monday–Friday or with Saturday rota and is aligned with the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Community pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
• Sound dispensing and clinical checking knowledge.
• Confidence managing a busy workload and making appropriate clinical decisions.
• A warm, professional manner and strong patient communication skills.
• Proactive approach to pharmacy services and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing, clinical checking and the safe, efficient running of the pharmacy.
• Provide clear, approachable advice and support to patients.
• Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services under the relevant PGDs.
• Help develop and promote the pharmacy’s clinical services.
• Support and guide the wider pharmacy team, leading by example.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and the local community.
• Work constructively with the nearby GP practice and other local healthcare professionals.
