Job summary

Aspire Locums (Northwest) Limited is seeking a motivated Pharmacist for a community pharmacy in Cumbria. You will assist the Pharmacist with dispensing, customer service and day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NHS and GPhC standards.

The role requires GPhC registration, your own indemnity, enhanced DBS, and right-to-work in the UK. You will work as part of a friendly team with opportunities for professional development and flexible hours where possible.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions.
  • Ensure correct label and package of medicines according to legal and company standards.
  • Manage stock levels, check expiry dates, and maintain accurate records of medications.
  • Answer customer queries in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure prescriptions are processed safely and efficiently, including controlled drugs and private prescriptions.
  • Support the pharmacy team with administrative duties such as filing, ordering stock, and maintaining patient records.
  • Adhere to all NHS, GPhC, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy.

My Client is an Independent Community Pharmacy in Cumbria. We are working seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join their existing Pharmacy team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, offering excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operations within the pharmacy.
