Bedfordshire Police is seeking a dedicated Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) based in Kempston. The role focuses on supporting vulnerable people, preventing crime, and building trust within local communities.

You will work with a dedicated community policing team to embed neighbourhood policing across the county and develop strong relationships with residents. Applicants should be prepared for shift work, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Provide vital support to vulnerable people and victims of crime within communities, building trust and relationships between the public and police.
• Work alongside regular officers in a dedicated community policing team to embed neighbourhood policing across the county.
• Opportunity to progress to policing; after two years as PCSO you may be deemed eligible for further routes.
