Northamptonshire Police is seeking a proactive Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) to join our Human Resources team in Northamptonshire. You will operate 37 hours a week in a permanent full-time role, providing community-facing support and assisting with routine policing tasks.

The role offers a salary from £27,204 to £32,613, with a 25.49% shift allowance after training, bringing pay to around £34,138.

Responsibilities

• Communication and negotiation: you will be at the forefront of the community dealing with anti-social behaviour and minor crime.
• Designated powers: you may issue fixed penalty notices and seize items as required.
• Building relationships and community engagement: organise events and work with partner agencies locally.
• Exceptional training: you will receive training to handle incidents, witness statements, and follow-up with victims.
