Acorns Children's Hospice invites applications for a Community Partnership Worker in Worcester. You will map community assets, develop resources for young people, and run workshops to promote a public health approach to palliative care.
You will identify funding opportunities and build lasting relationships with schools, organisations and communities across the region. DBS checks apply and travel across the region is expected.
Make a difference in your community. Help us build compassionate networks of support for bereaved children and young people. Acorns Children's Hospice are looking for a Community Partnership Worker for our Worcester hospice to develop a peer support programme and youth leadership programme, with the aim to increase grief literacy. You’ll also work closely with schools and community organisations to ensure they are equipped to support bereaved siblings.
We’re driven by children's needs, so you should be able to travel independently across the region
Interviews are scheduled to be held on 11th September.
You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and therefore any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references.
In addition, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of immunisation against specific diseases or confirm their willingness to receive the necessary vaccinations.
