Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is advertising a Band 6 Home Oxygen Community Respiratory Nurse (permanent, part-time 30 hours over 4 days) to support the Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service within the Mid-Notts Cardio Respiratory network.

The role covers clinics and patients at home, across the Mid-Notts area including Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, with requirement for a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Qualifications

• Post-registration expertise in respiratory care and oxygen therapy.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work.
• Ability to produce patient assessment reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing care for home oxygen assessments.
• Produce succinct patient assessment reports with thorough documentation.
• Help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions by promoting independence.
• Participate in induction and competency development.
