Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistants to join a newly established Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) in Mid and North Hampshire. You will work under supervision to deliver practical, person-centred interventions in people’s homes and community settings to support independence and meaningful recovery.

You will be part of a MDT delivering structured 1:1 and group sessions, contributing to service development and audit, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
• Basic IT skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions under supervision as part of agreed care plans
• Support daily living skills and community engagement (routines, social activities, accessing services)
• Work 1:1 with service users in home and community settings, including lone working
• Deliver group-based rehabilitation activities
• Support recovery-focused interventions for individuals who find engagement difficult
• Contribute to assessment processes by gathering information and reporting observations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
• Support the day-to-day running of the service, including resources and admin tasks
