Job summary

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
• Access to a vehicle for work is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments and development of individualised treatment plans.
• Provide therapy in community settings to maximise independence and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage own caseload with sound clinical reasoning.
• Maintain up-to-date notes and activity data.
• Deliver interventions in home, hospital, schools or work environments.
• Provide clinical OT skills within Community Therapy Team and other providers.
• Ensure delegated tasks are handed over clearly and safely.
• Assess and treat complex factors affecting patient outcomes.
• Contribute to supervision and development of junior staff and support workers.
