BARNET COUNCIL is recruiting a Community Occupational Therapist to join a well-structured, dynamic team in Barnet. The role is a full-time contract with a potential extension and a chance to work from home, offering a manageable caseload and opportunities for portfolio training.

Key duties include assessing service users in their home, advising on equipment and home modifications, and carrying out moving and handling assessments while safeguarding vulnerable people with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Community Occupational Therapist.
• HCPC Registration is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS/CRB can be obtained for you.

Responsabilités

• Assess service users and carers with complex needs in relation to home environment.
• Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications.
• Conduct adaptations, moving and handling assessments; help reduce or minimise care packages.
• Demonstrate safeguarding awareness and uphold dignity and respect.
