Job summary

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a long‑term, community‑based team. You will assess disabled residents to enhance independence and reduce reliance on care, while guiding colleagues and promoting learning.

You’ll be based in the borough for part of the week with hybrid working from home on other days, and the role includes an Enhanced DBS check requirement.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with community background.
• Significant experience in OT assessments for disabled people and carers.
• Comfortable working with electronic case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' capabilities using a variety of approaches.
• Guide and mentor colleagues, potentially including OT students.
