Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a professionally qualified Occupational Therapist (HCPC registered) for a permanent post based in the Derbyshire Dales. The role is 33.4 hours per week, with Grade 9 or 11 level depending on experience, and support from a strong OT team.

You will work across safeguarding, complex health needs, moving and handling, learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, contributing to a person-centred, safe and sustainable local service.

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
• Grade 9 (newly qualified) or Grade 11 (experienced) level.
• Permanent contract based in the Derbyshire Dales.

Responsibilities

• Work across safeguarding, complex health needs, moving and handling, learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
• Duty team responses and inter-agency collaboration within a multi-disciplinary Adult Care Team.
• Deliver a strength-based, proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, carers and families.
