Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic individual to join the Community Nursing Team as a Training Assistant (Band 4). The role focuses on delivering clinical skills training across education settings, overseen by registered nurses, with the potential to support the wider Children’s Community Nursing Team.

The post is mainly Monday–Friday with occasional outside-hours work. It requires travel across the county to deliver training at various locations, including education

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care/Nursing Associate or equivalent experience is required.
• Willingness to undertake training required for post.
• Previous knowledge and experience of working in a care environment is essential.
• Experience working with patients with complex health needs is preferred.
• Experience of delivering education and training programmes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of clinical skills training to service users and partnership agencies across education provisions.
• Enable the child/YP to access everyday environments.
• Frequent travel to various locations throughout the county; occasional weekend/evening work may be required.
