Job summary

The post holder will join the Children’s Community Nursing Training Team in Cornwall, delivering clinical skills training across education provisions and service settings under supervision of registered nurses.

We seek an enthusiastic, proactive individual with NVQ4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, willing to undertake required training; experience in education delivery and caring for patients with complex health needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Community Nursing Team (CCN) working predominately within the training team with some work into the CCN team . We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to deliver training of clinical skills within a range of settings overseen by registered nurses. Predominantly the post holder will work Monday-Friday, with occasional requirements to work outside of these working hours to meet the service users training needs., The post holder will work within a small training team within theChildren's Community Nursing Team overseen by registered nurses. As well as training there will be some requirements to support the wider Children's Community Nursing Team. The successful candidate will be required to deliver a variety of clinical skills training to a range of service users and partnership agencies across a variety of settings with a large proportion being delivered across education provisions.   • NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care/Nursing Associate or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to undertake training required for post
  • Previous knowledge and experience of working in a care environment, Experience working with patients with complex health needs
  • Experience of delivering education and training programmes, Experience with the following clinical interventions including enteral feeding, patient monitoring, administration of medication, tracheostomy care and venapuncture.
