Job summary

Livewell Southwest is seeking a Practice Facilitator to support education and staff development within Community Nursing teams in Plymouth. You will lead training, assess competencies, and drive evidence-based practice across bands 3–7, working with the Community Practice Lead for Nursing to deliver programmes and develop learning frameworks.

The role emphasises clinical leadership, change management, and fostering staff capability in line with national standards and NHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge and skills required.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Passion for education and workforce development; ability to support change in practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate clinical and essential training using national and local guidelines.
• Deliver training programmes led by clinical educators and promote peer learning groups.
• Support the development of competency frameworks across Community Nursing bands 3–7.
