Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Nursing Deputy Team Lead to assist the team lead in delivering district nursing services in Blyth, Brockwell, Hexham and across Northumberland and North Tyneside. You will lead a community nursing team, manage caseloads and ensure high quality patient care.

The role emphasises compassionate leadership, mentorship, coaching and development of staff while maintaining robust communication with patients, carers and healthcare

Qualifications

Registered General Nurse with current registration.
Experience leading a team in community setting.
Knowledge of quality improvement tools, techniques and methods.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement and evaluate packages of care for patients on caseload.
Provide leadership and supervision to inspire high performance.
Develop and maintain mentorship, coaching and staff development within the team.
