Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a part-time Nursing Associate for our Hertfordshire community teams. You will work 30 hours per week, delivering high-quality nursing care to people in their own homes and local communities.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, supported by Development Nurses and your Team Leader to build knowledge and competence, with opportunities to progress via the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship Programme.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate with current UK NMC registration.
• Educated to a minimum level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice.
• GCSEs Grade 9-4 in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for an allocated group of patients.
• Acting as an accountable nursing professional, practising in line with the NMC Standards of Proficiency.
• Recognising and working within the scope of your competence, seeking support and guidance when required.
• Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, patient-centred care and make efficient use of resources.
• Contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality care while supporting the wider nursing team.
• Undertaking a range of clinical procedures and interventions appropriate to the role.
