Job summary

Sussex Community in Crawley is seeking a Nursing Associate to join a community nursing team delivering care in Crawley and surrounding villages. The postholder will work alongside Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals and must be registered with the NMC.

The role requires completion of Nursing Associate training, a commitment to patient dignity and confidentiality, and the ability to contribute to planning and monitoring care within the community setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
• End point assessment completed successfully.
• Experience working in the community setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care within proven competency as achieved during Nursing Associate Training.
• Be supervised by a Registered Nurse (band 5 or above) and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to planning, implementation and monitoring of patient care in the community.
• Supervise and teach trainee Nursing Associates and health care assistants.
• Maintain documentation per NMC and Trust policies and adhere to Medicines Management policies.
