Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to work across the 5 neighbourhoods of Tameside. You will join a MDT in the community, with induction support and a buddy, and may work across localities as required.

Newly qualified applicants will undertake a preceptorship programme, and the post holder will coordinate caseload in the absence of the team lead, while supervising junior staff and learners.

Qualifications

• Band 5 Community Staff Nurse (NHS) role.
• Newly qualified applicants will undertake a preceptorship programme.
• You will be allocated a team base and have induction facilitator plus a buddy.
• Role may involve working across localities as required.
• You will co-ordinate caseload in the absence of the team/senior lead and supervise learners.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Coordinate and deliver nursing care within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in the community.
• Teach and supervise pre and post basic learners and unregistered staff.
